Foofur - Picture 26

Foofur Picture 26I saw this picture come through from tinkerbell and just absolutely cracked up. That big ole bone looks like it weighs almost as much as the cute puppy dog. Foofur doesn’t take take his bones lightly, he picked this one out himself at the pet store about 5 years ago; I’m sure he enjoyed it.

Foofur was adopted from a shelter when he was 10 weeks old. The first people that adopted him brought him to the shelter because the big established dog in the family did not accept him. Of course, they only tried for 1 whole day, talk about putting effort into something. I’m sure these people wouldn’t get rid of a child if the older one didn’t accept the baby. Ok, off my high horse and back to this cute little guy.

Foofur is named after the blue comic book and animated series character. He’s half Jack Russell and half Welsh Corgi, 100% cute, and loves to be the center of attention. He follows his adopted mom everywhere she goes and even shows a little separation anxiety by not eating when she’s gone. Feel free to visit all of Tinkerbell’s pets when you have a chance.

Just one more Stoney update. It appears that his surgery went well and he’s back home now. The vet had to extract 3 teeth and his owner found out that he has lost 9 already. Don’t worry, she went out and bought a finger toothbrush and toothpaste so she can take care of the teeth he has left. Stoney’s been updating his diary on Catster almost daily, so if you would like more updates you can go ahead and visit him. Hopefully, he’ll stop here once in a while and let us put up some more cat pictures.

Please feel free to contact us if you’d like to have your pet featured here. We do this because we love animals and love to read their stories.

Stoney Update - Picture 25

A healthy StoneyI just love a happy ending and even though Stoney is not out of the woods yet, things are definitely looking better for this cute little guy. Stoney’s human has been in contact with us and others through his Caster page. She was able to get him to the vet yesterday and found a vet for life in Dr Ramsey of New Bedford, MA. Stoney was given some antibiotics to keep the infection from spreading and he’s scheduled for surgery on July 29th, 2008. While he’s under, the vet will also be cleaning Stoney’s healthy teeth to make sure the others stay healthy.

Stoney’s human would like to thank everyone who was able to help out through her chipin page and other venues. With your help and the help of one very generous person Stoney will get the care he needs. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what’s going on. Below are the auctions that Stoney’s human has listed to help pay for his care:

Please Help Stoney - Picture 24

A Healthy StoneyStoney’s story has just broken my heart. I hope someone out there can help this little guy out. Stoney has an abscessed tooth that has made a hole in his cheek which has become infected. His cheek is so swollen right now that the third eyelid on his right eye is now almost totally closed. If you feel you can help financially, please chipin from the page his human has set up or at least help by digging his chipin page or blogging about his story. We realize that there are a lot of animals out there right now that could use help; but this little guy is in some real pain and needs help fast.

Stoney’s human has stated that she’ll be putting up some auctions on eBay soon and as soon as we have her ID, we’ll be featuring them here. Any money raised from their auctions or any other bids placed through our eBay links on this page will be donated to his cause.

Poor Little Bandit - Picture 23

Bandit after the snakebitePoor little Bandit was bit by a rattlesnake and lived to tell about it. This picture was taken the day after the bite and it shows the type of swelling that can occur in either human or animal. The Bandit received his name because his humans went to the shelter to adopt one cat and he stole their hearts. He is a brother to the famous Moki from Save Moki and Lucy the Pizza Cat and you can see more of The Bandit at his Catster page. Moki’s adopted human has also provided tons of links about cat health on Savemoki.com.

Our Budda Buddy - Picture 22

Buddy has been waiting patiently in the background to get his turn in the limelight at One Million Pet Pics. I really need to take that back, there is nothing patient about my Buddy.

Bud is this little cutie’s real name, but we have come up with so many nicknames that we really can’t count them all: Buddy, Budda, Bootcha, and Botched up Budda are a few that come to mind. Why Botched up Budda you ask? Well, he has some really quirky habits. Like typical cats, when he wants attention, he wants it NOW. For example, just a couple of minutes ago he felt it was his turn instead of the computer for attention; he came up and sat right in front of the mouse and keyboard until he was satisfied. He will also wake me up in the AM when I’m able to sleep in, one meow is all it takes and I’m up for the day. Buddy has a lot of other quirks, but I’ll save them for another day and another picture.

If you would like to have your pet featured and receive a backlink to your blog or Squidoo lens, visit the contact page and upload your photo. We have quite a ways to go for 1,000,000 so feel free to submit multiple pics if you’d like. Also, the link feature hasn’t been working correctly, so if you could include your website URL in the description box, that would be great.

Lucy - Picture 21

Lucy An English Springer Spaniel Michael from Blogging Over Coffee has this to say about this adorable English Springer Spaniel.

“My English Springer Spaniel, “Lucy”. She was given to me a
couple of years ago, and for the most part has been a very good pet.
She is great with kids, has a calm disposition, and is a decent
watchdog. In this picture, you can see her “I know you have food,
give me some too” look. If given the chance, she could probably out
eat any other animal I know of.”

I’m not sure how Michael could resist a look like this; isn’t that how it usually goes though? Thanks for sharing Lucy with us Michael.
