Kalee A Tunneling Dog - Picture 28

Tunneling KaleeHi! This is Kalee, a 12 year old hound mix.  She has been a great dog - smart, fun, and well-behaved - with a little work from us!

In the past year she has become a star of Online Dog Coach, featured as the expert in several lessons including “leave it,” “figure 8 around legs,” and “Circle.” She is also the dog model whenever we need a photo of a dog doing something - good or bad! We just set up the shot - she seldom misbehaves (wink).

Online Dog Coach came about when she was just starting to learn the sport of canine freestyle dancing, after she retired from dog agility. We couldn’t find convenient classes in our neighborhood, nor online! So we started our own site to share with other dog owners interested in dog sports.

Kalee was adopted from the Denver Dumb Friends League when she was 4 years old, and immediately we knew she needed a job! A friend suggested agility, and we were hooked! Kalee had loads of fun before her hip dysplasia prevented her from jumping and climbing. Now she’s primarily a trick hound, but loves it when we set up a “tunnelers” class at her old stomping, er, that is, running and zooming grounds!

Thank you for sharing Kalee with the world, she is absolutely adorable. If you would like to have your pet featured here, please visit our contact page to submit a picture of your pet today.

Buddy Makes His Icanhascheezburger Debut - Picture 27

It Puts the Kitteh In Da BasketI finally caught another decent picture of my little Budda (pronounced Buddha) Buddy. He likes to lay in this basket every day when I’m hard at work or play in the office; I’m sure he’s really supervising me to make sure I am working. The basket was brought back from Jamaica by my in-laws as a gift for my hubby and I. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time to decorate or do anything creative with this so it sits on the window sill just waiting for my Buddy to come by and take his afternoon nap.

The DH thought up the saying one day deriving it from “The Silence of the Lambs” when the creepy guy is telling the girl in the pit “It puts the lotion in the basket”. Instead we usually say “It puts the Budda in the Basket”. Since no one besides my hubby or I would know what a “Budda” is, I replaced Budda with kitteh.

We are still looking for 999,973 more pet pictures to feature here at One Million Pet Pics; I only have two cats so it’s going to be real difficult to get there myself and we want our content to be original and not scraped. I don’t know if I can’t get 1,000,000 good pictures of Bud and Kelly.
