Poor little Bandit was bit by a rattlesnake and lived to tell about it. This picture was taken the day after the bite and it shows the type of swelling that can occur in either human or animal. The Bandit received his name because his humans went to the shelter to adopt one cat and he stole their hearts. He is a brother to the famous Moki from Save Moki and Lucy the Pizza Cat and you can see more of The Bandit at his Catster page. Poor bandit! No fun being bitten!
That picture melts my heart. Poor guy! I am so glad he was okay and found a good home.
Thanks for featuring Bandit and Lucy. Bandit is all healed up now and back to his normal self. His fur has even grown back. Unfortunately, Lucy crossed over to the bridge last Sunday. She had such personality and we will miss her dearly. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about her.
I’m so sorry to hear about Lucy, I hope she didn’t suffer too much before crossing over.
