Kalee A Tunneling Dog - Picture 28

Tunneling KaleeHi! This is Kalee, a 12 year old hound mix.  She has been a great dog - smart, fun, and well-behaved - with a little work from us!

In the past year she has become a star of Online Dog Coach, featured as the expert in several lessons including “leave it,” “figure 8 around legs,” and “Circle.” She is also the dog model whenever we need a photo of a dog doing something - good or bad! We just set up the shot - she seldom misbehaves (wink).

Online Dog Coach came about when she was just starting to learn the sport of canine freestyle dancing, after she retired from dog agility. We couldn’t find convenient classes in our neighborhood, nor online! So we started our own site to share with other dog owners interested in dog sports.

Kalee was adopted from the Denver Dumb Friends League when she was 4 years old, and immediately we knew she needed a job! A friend suggested agility, and we were hooked! Kalee had loads of fun before her hip dysplasia prevented her from jumping and climbing. Now she’s primarily a trick hound, but loves it when we set up a “tunnelers” class at her old stomping, er, that is, running and zooming grounds!

Thank you for sharing Kalee with the world, she is absolutely adorable. If you would like to have your pet featured here, please visit our contact page to submit a picture of your pet today.

Foofur - Picture 26

Foofur Picture 26I saw this picture come through from tinkerbell and just absolutely cracked up. That big ole bone looks like it weighs almost as much as the cute puppy dog. Foofur doesn’t take take his bones lightly, he picked this one out himself at the pet store about 5 years ago; I’m sure he enjoyed it.

Foofur was adopted from a shelter when he was 10 weeks old. The first people that adopted him brought him to the shelter because the big established dog in the family did not accept him. Of course, they only tried for 1 whole day, talk about putting effort into something. I’m sure these people wouldn’t get rid of a child if the older one didn’t accept the baby. Ok, off my high horse and back to this cute little guy.

Foofur is named after the blue comic book and animated series character. He’s half Jack Russell and half Welsh Corgi, 100% cute, and loves to be the center of attention. He follows his adopted mom everywhere she goes and even shows a little separation anxiety by not eating when she’s gone. Feel free to visit all of Tinkerbell’s pets when you have a chance.

Just one more Stoney update. It appears that his surgery went well and he’s back home now. The vet had to extract 3 teeth and his owner found out that he has lost 9 already. Don’t worry, she went out and bought a finger toothbrush and toothpaste so she can take care of the teeth he has left. Stoney’s been updating his diary on Catster almost daily, so if you would like more updates you can go ahead and visit him. Hopefully, he’ll stop here once in a while and let us put up some more cat pictures.

Please feel free to contact us if you’d like to have your pet featured here. We do this because we love animals and love to read their stories.

Trooper - Picture 20

Trooper In The Snow

Trooper has never made an appearance here at One Million Pet Pics before, but two of his family members, Bear and Quinn, have. Trooper’s definitely posing to win his place on to Dr Ferox’s header in this adorable picture. If you think Trooper should win the contest, make sure you go and vote for him.

Keep the pet pics coming and I’ll keep posting.

Scrappy: One Cute Little Mix - Picture 18

scrappy.jpgWhen I started this website, I calculated that it would take over 280 years to post 1,000,000 pet pictures if I posted one a day, just yesterday I realized that if I keep up at this rate, it’s going to take me over 500 years. Please keep submitting your adorable pets, and I promise that I’ll feature them a lot faster than I have been.

This is Scrappy. My husband rescued Scrappy, so we aren’t
positive what he is, but he’s at least a large part Broken Coated
Jack-Russell.
I tell my husband, that my son and Scrappy are the two best gifts he
ever gave me!
When I first saw Scrappy, I thought he was a scraggly mess and
couldn’t understand why my husband called me multiple times
throughout the day to tell me about this cute dog that he had found.
But that evening, after I gave him a bath and feed him, I fell asleep
on the couch and when I woke up, he was curled up with me. I was in
love! He’s really been ‘my dog’ ever since.
Honestly, he’s not the best behaved dog in the world. He jumps on
everybody that comes in, when he’s tired and you bother him, he’ll
growl, when he wants in, he relentlessly jumps on the door until he
gets his way, he wants all the attention and if you want to pet our
Lab, he’ll put himself between the two of you so he gets petted too.
But he’s very devoted, and loving, comes when called, isn’t messy,
doesn’t bark at anything but other dogs and the U.P.S. truck, and
always seems happy. He truly is this gal’s ‘best-friend’!
Feel free to visit my photo blog at
http://photosforthefunofit.blogspot.com. There you’ll find another
photo of Scrappy, plus other nature and scenic photos I have taken.
I am not a professional, but love photography as a hobby, and this is
my little corner of the internet to display my art.
