Hi! This is Kalee, a 12 year old hound mix. She has been a great dog - smart, fun, and well-behaved - with a little work from us!
In the past year she has become a star of Online Dog Coach, featured as the expert in several lessons including “leave it,” “figure 8 around legs,” and “Circle.” She is also the dog model whenever we need a photo of a dog doing something - good or bad! We just set up the shot - she seldom misbehaves (wink).
Online Dog Coach came about when she was just starting to learn the sport of canine freestyle dancing, after she retired from dog agility. We couldn’t find convenient classes in our neighborhood, nor online! So we started our own site to share with other dog owners interested in dog sports.
Kalee was adopted from the Denver Dumb Friends League when she was 4 years old, and immediately we knew she needed a job! A friend suggested agility, and we were hooked! Kalee had loads of fun before her hip dysplasia prevented her from jumping and climbing. Now she’s primarily a trick hound, but loves it when we set up a “tunnelers” class at her old stomping, er, that is, running and zooming grounds!
Thank you for sharing Kalee with the world, she is absolutely adorable. If you would like to have your pet featured here, please visit our contact page to submit a picture of your pet today.

I finally caught another decent picture of my little Budda (pronounced Buddha) Buddy. He likes to lay in this basket every day when I’m hard at work or play in the office; I’m sure he’s really supervising me to make sure I am working. The basket was brought back from Jamaica by my in-laws as a gift for my hubby and I. Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of time to decorate or do anything creative with this so it sits on the window sill just waiting for my Buddy to come by and take his afternoon nap.
The DH thought up the saying one day deriving it from “The Silence of the Lambs” when the creepy guy is telling the girl in the pit “It puts the lotion in the basket”. Instead we usually say “It puts the Budda in the Basket”. Since no one besides my hubby or I would know what a “Budda” is, I replaced Budda with kitteh.
We are still looking for 999,973 more pet pictures to feature here at One Million Pet Pics; I only have two cats so it’s going to be real difficult to get there myself and we want our content to be original and not scraped. I don’t know if I can’t get 1,000,000 good pictures of Bud and Kelly.

I can’t believe that this blog is over two months old already and I haven’t even posted my Buddy’s picture yet. That will have to wait because it’s Nancy’s pet picture of Lena is finally being posted. Her comments were so beautiful, I’m not even going to try and re-write them:
“This is my dog Lena, she is my constant companion and my muse. I create dog art and Lena inspires me every day. She makes me grateful and reminds me how truly blessed I am to be able to combine my artwork and my love for the dog.”
To all of the Entrecarders that I used to visit and drop on everyday - I miss reading your blogs, but I just had to stop because it was almost like an addiction that stood in the way of me getting anything else done. My blogs suffered, my Squidoo pages suffered, The Software Castle suffered, and so did my family and friends. Wow, I feel like I’m at a GA meeting, but it is the truth. Now that I got that off of my chest, I hope you’re not afraid to send in your picture.
Keep the pet pictures coming, it’s a long way to 1,000,000.

This adorable little one shared with us by Jim loves to wake up mommy and daddy at 4:30 in the morning. She’s a typical little kitty gets into everything and is extremely entertaining with her obnoxious manners. Besides all of these things, she has stolen her humans hearts and mine too because I always have a soft spot for short hair tabbies. She is so freaking cute. Thanks for sharing her with us Jim, feel free to send us another pic when she’s a little older.

Ettarose has submitted her adorable dog Lucky with her granddaughter whom even had Slim Jims in her pocket at the time this picture was taken. He is so cute, I just want to eat him up (not literally). He definitely deserves one of those Slim Jims, he’s being so good right now. At least that’s how it appears

We really didn’t forget about posting a new pic for 10 days, I was just out on vacation, but now it’s finally time for Hector to lose his time in the spotlight. We’ll see you later Hector.
Megan from Casto Creations has shared two of her three beautiful dogs for the next couple of days. I believe that this is one of her Huskies and the Malamute, but if I’m wrong feel free to correct me in the comments.
Once again, we are running low on pets to feature, if you have a favorite furry (or scaly) friend that you’d like to show off to the world, visit our contact page to upload their picture.
Want to make sure you don’t miss a pic? Sign up for our RSS feed.
If you’d like to see your pet featured, visit our contact page. Our site would work very well to get the word out about pets up for adoption or other pet related websites. Of course, we welcome one and all. As you can see we have a long way to go to 1,000,000; so submit your picture today. A website for linking to is not needed.
